RCMP Cochrane – Accidental death

July 18th, 2014 at 12:50 pm Cochrane RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of a 51 year old male who fell off a ladder at Cochrane Crescent. Upon arrival police were able to determine that the victim was at a friends home and had been assisting with roof repairs over the last week. The victim was in the process of climbing a ladder onto the roof when he fell. The victim was taken to the Foothills Medical Centre by ambulance where he later died from his injuries. Fatigue from the previous weeks work on the roof may have contributed to the accident. No charges are forthcoming from this incident.
