RCMP Calgary – Arrests Made in Relation to 2006 Homicide

RCMP have arrested and charged 28 year old David Daviau, with First Degree Murder and 29 year old Kyle Andree, with Manslaughter and Accessory after the fact.  Both accused are from Calgary, Alberta.

Wayman Cornell Scott was 32 at the time of his death. His body was dumped in a frozen field near a rural road. On December 11, 2006, Strathmore RCMP were called to the rural location near Conrich, Alberta.

Investigation revealed that Scott had been shot at a Calgary residence and was transported to the Conrich area.  These charges come as a result of RCMP, with the assistance of the Calgary Police Service, conducting follow up inquiries and uncovered further evidence in this case.

Both accused were arrested in Ontario and are currently in custody, they will be transported to Alberta to make a court appearance for December 17, 2014,  in relation to these charges.
