Stolen Dirt Bike
Brooks, Alberta– Brooks RCMP were alerted on Tuesday morning of a stolen truck out of Medicine Hat travelling West on Highway 1 towards Brooks. Brooks RCMP located the stolen truck and attempted to stop the vehicle when it evaded police. The truck also had a (believed) stolen dirt bike in the back of the truck. Police located the stolen truck abandoned on township road 175a East of highway 875, however the dirt bike was missing. Around 10:30 AM Brooks RCMP located the suspect on the stolen dirt bike driving on Highway 1 Westbound and he again was evading Police. He was last seen near the Kiwanis Campground.
Brooks RCMP are asking the public to report to the police if they see anyone operating this dirt bike and call the complaint line at 403-362-5535. Break and Enter
Brooks, Alberta- On June 20 2016 Brooks RCMP responded to a break and enter at Agcom Petroleum Sales in Brooks. An unknown male broke in a gate to gain access to where the company vehicles are parked. The male tried the doors to the vehicles and then left the scene. The suspect was driving what appeared to be a 4 door Ford F250 or F 350.
