RCMP Brooks – Hit and Run of Senior on a Scooter

Brooks, Alberta – The Brooks RCMP are currently investigating a Hit and Run that occurred on May 28th, 2016 around 1:30 PM, near Walmart, in Brooks.  An 83 year-old male riding an Electric mobility scooter was hit by a vehicle in the pedestrian crosswalk at 9th Avenue West and 3rd Street West. The driver of the suspect vehicle left the scene without being identified or providing any information. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model car, faded red in colour.

The Brooks RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in solving this Hit and Run. If you witnessed this offence and have not spoken with the Police. Or have any information about the vehicle or driver involved in this Hit and Run, please contact Brooks RCMP.
