Fox Creek, Alta. – RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the homicide of two persons at a work camp located approximately 50 kms outside of Fox Creek, Alta. The two individuals were victims of a knife attack carried out by a single male in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 30.
At this time, investigators believe the man acted alone and are not looking for any other any other suspects.
The RCMP can confirm that the attacks took place at Berland Open Lodge, operated by DJ Catering Ltd., a Canada North Group Inc. company.
The identity of the victims will not be shared at this time.
Autopsies will be scheduled for later this week.
