Airdrie, Alberta- Sometime between June 21 and 22, 2016, a rural Airdrie residence was broken into. Several pieces of unique religious jewellery were stolen. The jewellery is used to adorn Hindu deities and included gold necklaces, bracelets, and crowns.

Theft of Charity Donation Box
Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are seeking to identify three suspects in the theft of a charity donation box from Taco Time located in the Sierra Springs shopping center. The theft occurred on June 26, 2016 at approximately 4:50 p.m. when a male and a female stole the donation box which was located near the cash register. The theft was captured on closed circuit cameras. The Caucasian female was wearing a short-sleeved black t-shirt and had two-toned dyed blonde hair on top with a dark portion underneath. The male is shown wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, Caucasian and wearing a dark coloured hat.
There was approximately $50 in change stolen.

Airdrie RCMP seeking public’s assistance with identifying a suspect using counterfeit currency
Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying a male who has used counterfeit Canadian currency at Shoppers Drug Mart on Market Street SE to make purchases on June 11, 2016. The male is identified as Caucasian with short brown hair. He was also wearing a white t-shirt with a striped design on the front and white ball cap. The male produced three bills of poor quality in denominations of a hundred dollars.
