Crossfield, Alberta – On 7 August, 2014 at approximately 10:30 am, Airdrie Rural RCMP received a complaint of theft of construction materials.
Ten minutes prior, at 10:20 am, two males in a red Chevrolet pick-up truck pulled up to a residence undergoing renovations on Harrison Street in Crossfield. The males loaded a a large amount of vinyl siding (value unknown) into the back of the pick-up truck and departed. The property owner was able to obtain a picture of the vehicle leaving and the licence plate prior to contacting the police. Unfortunately the plate had been stolen from a vehicle in Airdrie and was not a match to the vehicle. There is no description of the males.
The Airdrie Rural RCMP is requesting assistance from any member of the public who may have information regarding this event.
