RCMP Airdrie – Recovered Stolen Property related to Calgary Area Residential Break and Enters

Airdrie, Alberta – On Friday May 29, 2015, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Airdrie RCMP was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Range Road 13 in Airdrie, Alberta. Upon further investigation, it was determined one of the vehicles involved in the collision, a Honda CRV was in fact stolen as well as the licence plate attached to it. All four occupants of the vehicles involved were treated for none life threatening injuries.

In the stolen CRV, RCMP members located three additional stolen licence plates as well as over 600 pieces of stolen jewellery, jewellery boxes, tools, electronics and a variety of additional types of stolen property. This property is believed to be linked to a series of break and enters to residences in the Beiseker, Olds, Airdrie, Strathmore and Calgary area.

Two suspects have been identified in relation to the stolen property. Charges are pending against a 45 year old female and 36 year old male.
