On November 5th, 2015, at approximately 9:30 AM, Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit “Green Team South”, along with Airdrie Rural RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Services and Airdrie Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a rural property in the county of Rocky View, near Balzac, Alberta.536 marihuana plants were located inside the attached garage to the residence. The marihuana plants have a street value of $670,000 dollars.
A 58 year old Calgary male and a 46 year old Calgary female were arrested inside the residence and are facing charges of Production of marihuana and Possession of Property obtained by crime.
