Airdrie, Alberta – On August 5th, shortly before noon, Airdrie RCMP received a call from Adessa, a vehicle auction business.
Employees at Adessa had located what appeared to be a grenade in the glove box of a vehicle. RCMP members attended and cleared the area around the vehicle. RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) of Edmonton was contacted.
