The recently renamed Perdue Park, located at the corner of John Street and Robert Street, will be temporarily closed beginning June 21 for construction and installation of new equipment. Please obey all posted signage and fencing.
The Turner Valley Paths, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (the Committee) would like to thank the community for the new name ideas submitted, and the high level of interest. The Town initially received 25 name submissions for the contest and the Committee short listed five names. The Town received 105 responses to the short listed names with 59% in favour of Perdue Park in honour of the late Turner Valley RCMP Constable, Jeremy Perdue.
