June 13th and 14th will mark the second annual Spring Street Hockey Classic put on my Peak Athletics. The games will run from 8am to 6pm each day in the Foothills Composite parking lot (229 Woodhaven Drive).
All teams from Timbits to Bantams are encouraged to participate. You can register online. Please have your teams registered by Wednesday, June 11, 2015 and all Participant Waiver forms sent in. There will be a free pancake breakfast for the registered athletes along with prizes and giveaways over the weekend.
This event is geared towards the kids not only in Okotoks, but all the communities in the surrounding area. Organizers are hoping to have 300 participants and will require all the help they can get! It is hoped that a simple street hockey tournament can turn into an event for the whole family that will live on for years to come.
The tournament is being put on by the Peak Athletics Parent Association and all funds raised will go to benefit the Global Sport Academy Group (formerly Peaks Athletics Hockey Program) through the Foothills School Division.
