Following the findings of Roger Brooks Community Assessment and direction from the Downtown Steering Committee, the Town is considering allowing seasonal outdoor patios on public property as well as blade signs that extend into public property in the downtown area.
Changes are proposed to the Land Use Bylaw and Encroachment Policy as well as new guidelines for administering patios on public property.
You are invited to an Open House on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in Council Chambers (5 Elizabeth Street) to hear more about the initiative and to provide feedback into the process.
