Okotoks RCMP have Charged Driver in Cyclist Collision

 

Okotoks, Alberta – RCMP have laid charges in relation to the fatal motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist on Highway 7 which occurred on May 4, 2015.

At the recommendation of the Chief Crown Prosecutors office, 42 year old Joely Lambourn, of Okotoks, Alberta has been charged with dangerous operation causing death under section 249 (4) of the Criminal Code and Drive while unauthorized under Section 94(2) of the Traffic Safety Act.

Lambourn has been release from custody and is scheduled to make her first court appearance in Okotoks Provincial Court on August 14, 2015.
