Suspect arrested for B & E
On August 5, 2014, 2014 at approximately 8:00 PM, Okotoks RCMP responded to residential Break and Enter in the Dewinton area. The suspect was located inside the residence by the owner and subsequently fled toward Highway 2A after being confronted.
The suspect was located again on Highway 2A at the Okotoks overpass attempting to hitchhike. The suspect was confronted again and ran into a field on the east side of the highway.
The suspect was eventually located and taken into custody at a nearby rural residence after police were alerted to his whereabouts by the owner.
45 year old Brian WHITE MAN LEFT of Standoff, AB has been charged with Break and enter to a residence and Mischief under $5000.
WHITE MAN LEFT was remanded into custody and his next court appearance is scheduled for August 8, 2014 at Okotoks Provincial Court.
