Residents are invited to attend this open house for an opportunity to see the conceptual drawings and learn more about the Pason Centennial Arena expansion project. Expansion of the Pason Centennial Arena is set to begin this fall and will include one additional NHL-sized ice surface and one recreational ice surface. Members of the design team and Town staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposed design.
Date: Thursday, August 4
Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Pason Centennial Arena (second floor), 204 Community Way
Our community is growing, and this new space will provide much needed multi-purpose space for a variety of activities. The expansion will include one NHL-sized ice surface, a leisure ice surface that will accommodate up to 100 people, 5 dressing rooms, and 3 multi-purpose rooms. The expansion will also use winning funds from the Kraft Hockeyville contest to create a Hockeyville Corner.
The approximate timeline of the project is as follows:
- Estimated construction start: Fall 2016
- Estimated completion: January 2018
