The new Okotoks Legion will be known officially as Okotoks Branch #291 of Alberta North-West Territories Command of the Royal Canadian Legion. The first members were initiated in a ceremony on Wednesday evening (November 5th). The Interim Executive were also installed.
The Legion holds monthly meetings at the Elks Hall.
The Members will be assisting at the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Okotoks as well as providing a Colour Party at the Oilers Hockey Game on Saturday evening.
