About Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement uniting people to protect the planet, and is organized by WWF.  Engaging a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues, Earth Hour was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Since then it has grown to engage more than 7,000 cities and towns worldwide, and the one-hour event continues to remain the key driver of the now larger movement.

How to Make Earth Hour Fun:

Make Earth Hour fun and special for your family!  Consider turning off every light, leaving your house in the dark or playing a board game at the kitchen table by candlelight.  Use your imagination and you will see that there is lots of fun things to do in the dark!

Why not…
Take a nap! Catch up on some rest that over-attention to electronics has stolen from you lately.
