Oilfields High to Celebrate Literacy Day with Collection of Human Books

For Literacy Day at Oilfields we will be holding our first Human Library. We have an amazing selection of ‘Human Books’ coming in to share impactful stories from their lives with our grades 7-9. It is going to be an exciting day as we have every ‘Human Book’ from medal winning Olympians, to Firefighters and a magician. We are aiming to have 25-27 ‘Human Books’ for the afternoon of January 12th. We are still looking for more ‘Human Books’, if you or someone you know would be interested in coming and sharing a story that will be impactful for our students please contact Nadine Russell, Librarian at Oilfields, she would love to hear from you.
