Spirit of Giving Day
Oilfields 10th annual Spirit of Giving Day is happening on December 16, 2015! Watch around town to see student helping and greeting community members! We will be signing students up next week, so encourage your child to participate in this awesome Oilfields tradition. This year, we are looking for parent volunteers. If you have time to give, please contact Ms. Morck directly and she will let you know what type of help we could use.
Watch for students in the community helping out!
GSA conference
Oilfields participated in the 4th annual Gay Straight Alliance Conference at the University of Calgary. Oilfields High School has had a GSA for going on three years and we have been proud of the work that we have done to make Oilfields a more inclusive and safe place for ALL students. This is something that Oilfields is very proud of! The GSA supports ALL young people regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The students in this club believe that it is important that ALL young people are accepted and not discriminated against. We are very proud of these leaders!
