Message from the Executive
The Oilfields Food Bank continues to be a busy place & has had a good fall with great support from members and our communities.
As the new Executive settles in & strives to fill the huge shoes of our retired Executive we want to thank all of you for your support!
As we transition into new roles we are trying to maintain the outstanding job done by individuals for years & bring a team approach forward to share the duties among more of our members.
Weekly ordering of food is being done by Della Dickie & Bev Vetters. Food pick up is being done by Marcus, Laura & Seamus Burn with backup by various members/volunteers when required. This backup is coordinated by Glenn Chambers.
We thank our weekly volunteer team & we will continue with the existing schedule of volunteers from local churches taking their monthly turn to help out in the distribution room.
This works great! Thanks to all!
We serve Turner Valley, Black Diamond, Longview, Millarville & Priddis & the surrounding M.D.
