Residential Search Warrant related to Property Obtained by Crime.
Nanton, Alberta – On January 12, 2016 the Nanton RCMP were made aware of residents of Nanton, Alberta that were involved in theft and possession of property obtained by crime. Upon further investigation a search warrant was sought and granted to search a location in Nanton, Alberta. Several hundred items were seized as a result of the search warrant as being property that was obtained by crime. Property that was recovered was determined to be from several locations including but not limited to Nanton, Okotoks, and Calgary. The majority of the property was stolen from local businesses and included antiques, electronics, and tools.
As a result of the investigational work of the Nanton RCMP Dustin SKLEREK (age 28) and Bryanna HOLLINGSWORTH (age 21) were both charged with 41 criminal counts of possession of property obtained by crime as well as charges related to possession of narcotics.
