Nanton, Alberta – On July 19, 2016, Nanton RCMP joined forces with the Calgary Police Service – High Risk Offender Program and arrested a 56-year-old Calgary man.
As a result of a collaborative response, Kenneth Hornby was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order and breach of a prohibition. At the time of his arrest, he was bound by a condition to not be within proximity of children. Hornby was arrested at a family campground in the Town of Nanton.
Hornby was placed into the custody of Calgary Police Service. He remains in custody.
Hornby’s arrest was as a result of the collaborative efforts of these two police forces who are committed to safe homes and communities for all Albertans.
