MS Bike Tour 2015: Airdrie to Olds

(Submitted)

Can you imagine. . .

Having Multiple Sclerosis means that one morning you may not be able to walk when you wake. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are many and vary for everyone. It is estimated that approximately 55,000 – 75,000 men and women in Canada have the disease, and every day about three more people are diagnosed.

. . . a future without MS.

On June 13 & 14, 2015, for the 15th year, I will be riding in the MS Society’s ‘Johnson’s MS Bike Tour’ from Airdrie to Olds. Over 500+ cyclists will start in Airdrie on Saturday and cycle through the Alberta foothills to Olds. We stay in Olds College overnight and then return to Airdrie on Sunday, a total of about 180 kms.

My fundraising goal this year is $5,000. Funds raised will go toward the research to find the cause and a cure for MS as well as to help the men and women and their families to cope with this disease on a daily basis.

Please help me raise my goal by logging on to the MS website:
