OTTAWA, ON – John Barlow, Member of Parliament for Foothills, released the following statement regarding the Ukrainian International Airlines Crash:
“The news of the Ukrainian International Airlines crash is devastating. The loss of 176 passengers aboard, including 63 fellow Canadians is heartbreaking. I extend my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of all those who lost someone in this tragic crash.
While it is early and details of the cause of the crash remain to be seen, Conservative MPs are firmly committed to working with the Minister of Transport and Liberal Government in pursuit of answers the families of the Canadian victims expect during this most difficult time.”
