Club Reporter Ethan Beck
December has been a very busy month for the Millarville-Stockland 4-H Beef club. Earlier this month, we collected non-perishable food items and then participated in packing hampers for families in need. Later we delivered them to families within our area. It makes you feel good knowing you are helping those that are less fortunate.
We celebrated Christmas with a Skating Party at the Priddis Community skating rink and hall. We skated then had Pizza and cake and handed out the secret Santa gifts. It is fun to socialize with the members of the club outside of the meetings.
Later this December we will be doing a ‘Farm Tour’. We go to the member’s farms to see their animals. It is a great way to help answer any questions that members have about feeding and caring for their animals.
