Millarville School News: Christmas Concert Success!

From the Principal….

Bravo to Mrs. Lederer, Mrs. Elliott and all of our talented children for this year’s Christmas Concert. We shared our show to a capacity crowd last week and we all agree that our event was a smashing success! We regret that we did not communicate our usual food and gift drive at our concert this year. If you are able, we would encourage you to give back to our community or charity of your choice in this season of giving and need.

In this final week before the break we have an array of events to help get into the mood for the holidays and show some school spirit. We look forward to wrapping up the year in true Millarville style. Please be dressed for the weather or event. Parents (and little ones) are welcome to join us for caroling to start the day each morning in the gym.

On behalf of the staff and students of MCS we would like to wish each one of you a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you again in the new year!

Just a little note of thanks . . .

The Christmas Musical cannot happen without the wonderful support of the amazing parents in our school. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those special people who worked on behalf of our students to make the performance such an enjoyable success.

From painting fireplaces, finding props and costumes to decorating 100 plus t-shirts, shopping for gloves, hauling sound and light equipment and driving in a snow storm to pick up microphones – all these acts of kindness are what make the community of MCS so special. Please know how thankful we are to have the generous support of you all.
