Millarville Saddlesores held their first meeting September 18th. Our first ride was September 26th with Cassandra Day instructing. On October 17th, we elected our officers with Marty Blatz as President, Jeff Blatz is our General Leader, and Marilyn Collard is Assistant Leader.
The club is pleased to have Lachlan Bell returning this year as our Riding Instructor. Lachlan came from Australia in 2004. He now trains on his own at Cochrane under Lachlan Bell Performance Horses. After our meeting on October 17th, Lachlan put us and our horses through our paces.
On October 24th, Paige Callaway gave a clinic on trick riding. Paige gave us the opportunity to try tricks on her horse. It was fun and a great learning experience.
