Millarville Community School Principal’s Message: Volunteers

MCS Sept BannerMCS - Sept 2MCS is built on our commitment to your children and in partnering with you to ensure we continue to offer an enriching program that meets the needs of all learners. Our parent volunteers are a vital component to the day-to-day life of our students. Even a small investment of your time can have a huge impact on the learning and development of our students. Please check our website for more information about the exciting volunteer opportunities available and please add your name to our volunteer list.

MCS - Sept 1Over these last weeks we have had the opportunity to connect with you and those volunteers on our school council and fundraising committees. Ms. Davis and I are excited about the teams who have come together and the new and fresh ideas they have brought forward for the upcoming school year. Please consider attending some of these meetings to learn more and possibly sign on for one of the executive councils.

Volunteer hours have come to our grade 6,7 and 8 students, who have been challenged to complete volunteer hours both inside and outside of MCS. Please tap them on the shoulder should you require some additional assistance from time to time. We will honor these service hours each term and at the end of the year with certificates of documented service hours.
