Foothills Cemetery, west of Black Diamond, underwent an expansion this summer. The design chosen for the cemetery burial area provides for casket lots and cremation lots will include both upright and flat markers. Columbarium niches, memory stones and a scattering garden were also proposed.
The MD of Foothills also maintains and operates both the Blackie and Cayley Cemeteries.
