LUB now in effect as of January 7, 2015.
The Land Use Bylaw (LUB) is a regulatory document that governs what may occur on a piece of property depending on that property’s zoning. This is key for all residents living and/or developing in the MD. We have been working through a thorough review of the land use bylaw over the last couple of years and have made every effort to keep residents both up to date and involved in the process.
December 17, 2014, a NEW LAND USE BYLAW was adopted under Bylaw 60/2014 and that decision officially ratified with the signing of the minutes and bylaws January 7, 2015. This is now the document that governs land uses and regulates what may occur on your lands.
Hard copies of the Land Use Bylaw 60/2014 are available upon request for $20.
Please note: the previous Land Use Bylaw is no longer in effect and has been rescinded with the adoption of the new Land Use Bylaw 60/2014.
