Mayor Robertson Presents Grand Prize

Basket-WinnerMayor Robertson presented the Grand Prize to our #thingstodoinOkotoks Slogan Contest Grant Prize Winner!

The results are in and boy were they close, but Sarah Newman took home the grand prize for best slogan with ‘A touch of nature, a touch of class, a touch of small town living’.  Sarah and her daughter Karissa collected their awesome prize this morning at the Municipal Centre from Mayor Robertson and are looking forward to all kinds of fun things ahead!

“I’m excited, there are tons of great things to do in the basket,” says Sarah.

And there you have it – there are in fact lots of things to do in the Town of Okotoks!

The runner-up was Angelo Rinaldi who also won a prize for his slogan ‘We have a rock that can beat paper and scissors’.

While, we received some great slogans we can’t promise we will adopt one as our official slogan. The branding project for the town is underway and the work we will be doing with Roger Brooks International, combined with the feedback received from our online survey will help form the foundation for our new shiny brand.
