Macleod Trail road closure between 3 and 4 Avenues S.W.

 

HIGH RIVER, AB: A section of Macleod Trail between 3 and 4 Avenues S.W. will be closed starting the evening of Friday, June 12 to allow crews to pour a concrete crosswalk (weather dependent).

Access to the joint municipal building and alley will be maintained. The road is anticipated to reopen on Tuesday, June 16.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution when travelling through this area, obey posted signs, and watch for heavy trucks and equipment.

Road closure on 7 Ave. S.W. between 1 Street and Centre Street S.W.

HIGH RIVER, AB: On Friday, June 12 there will be a road closure on 7 Avenue S.W. where crews will be removing railway ties and repaving the road between 1 Street and Centre Street S.W.

The removal of the railway ties is part of the Town’s infrastructure replacement program. All railway crossings along and parallel to Centre Street will be removed in the coming weeks.

Work is anticipated to take approximately two days to complete. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution when travelling through this area, obey posted signs, and watch for heavy trucks and equipment.
