Lozinsky Flett Law Office: COVID Update

RE: COVID-19 – Our Commitment

At Lozinsky Flett, we feel a deep-rooted responsibility for the health and safety of our team and clients, families and the communities we serve. We want you to know we are taking the situation very seriously. In response to COVID-19 we are actively working to ensure the health and safety of everyone we interact with. Here’s what we’re doing.

Supporting our team is our priority We insist that if you or someone in your household:

  • Has traveled outside the country within the past 2 weeks.
  • Are experiencing a fever, cough, difficulty breathing or have been in contact with individuals with these symptoms.
  • Have been to places of large gatherings of over 50 people

Please do not come into our office. If you have an appointment, please reschedule. As a courtesy, we would appreciate as much notice as possible in advance of your appointment that you will not be able to attend. We will make other arrangements as soon as possible to have your documents reviewed, signed and/or discussed.

There are links at the end of this document that can help keep you informed.

Focus on cleanliness in our office In our office we remain focused on cleanliness. Every client and staff member who enters the building must immediately wash their hands. As always, staff members will wash their hands regularly and between client appointments. In addition to our high hygiene standards, we have increased the frequency of many cleaning tasks with a focus on high-touch surfaces, including door handles, cell phones, counters, desks and, washrooms. We also have hand sanitizer available to anyone who visits our office. All magazines and self-help snacks are removed from use.

Changes to Client meetings We’ve added some communication options as alternatives to in-person client meetings. We can use telephone, email, Skype and Zoom. This allows us to do is continue to support our client’s needs and helping them to meet their deadlines through digital media.

We have cut back on the number of people in the building at one time. We are arranging fewer client appointments and have staggered our appointments further apart to minimize human contact.

We remain committed to our clients and employees that we serve. Today, that same commitment continues to guide all our actions.

We’re continuing to monitor developments closely and are following the guidance of public health authorities. As the situation changes, we’ll change with them and keep you informed.

We need to work together and be smart when in contact with others.
