In Loving Memory of Verne Trevoy

November 6, 1929 – November 9, 2016

It is with great sadness we announce that Verne Trevoy passed away November 9th at Eagle Ridge Hospital in Coquitlam British Columbia.

He was predeceased by his son James in 1987 and wife Marguerite in 1996. Surviving are daughter Elaine Koop, son in law Larry, grandchildren Lauren (Trent) McKie and Jeff (Roseanne) Koop and 3 great grandchildren Tyra Koop, Cohen and Hunter McKie.

A lifelong Calgary resident, Verne touched many lives as an educator for 33 years with the Calgary School Board and then after his retirement working tirelessly as a volunteer with The Church of The Redeemer, Inn From The Cold and the Calgary Branch of Pacific Assistance Dogs Society, always connecting with people in the most positive way.

A memorial service and reception for Verne will be held at the Church of The Redeemer, 604 – 1 St SE, Calgary, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 24, 2016.
