By Sylvia Binkley
A delightful concert was performed in the library on March 31st. Denisha Teichroeb, Sierra Butler and Danah Boutin treated us all to an afternoon of classical music on their stringed instruments. They were gracious and composed for ones so young. They described the history of their instruments and gave a brief history of the composers they had chosen for the afternoon. It was a real treat and Joan, our librarian, provided tea and cakes afterward, which were really yummy. It was a perfect day!
Upcoming events are: April 14th at 2pm – Your Garden and You with Sylvia Binkley

Those lazy days of summer reading are fast approaching. If you are looking for a book to curl up with in the shade, try “Men and Dogs” by Katie Crouch. The book begins when the heroine is 11 years old and her father disappears as a result of a boating accident. It’s a tale of unresolved memories and early mid-life crisis, written with hope and compassion.
