Light Up Black Diamond is a fun-filled family evening where we encourage late shopping and interactions between our local businesses and Light Up guests. We have free photos with Santa (stationed on the corner of the 4 way stop by Grillo’s), wagon rides, a live Nativity, and bonfires in the streets that are provided by the Foothills Lions Club, our continuing major sponsor.
ACTIVITIES Include:
- Tour of Lights:
Back by popular demand, the Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills bus will be touring Light-Up guests throughout town on their memorable Tour of Lights. The tour will include residential AND business light displays. So, if you have the outside space, we would really appreciate your help to LIGHT-UP Black Diamond.
- Scavenger Hunt:
The Light-Up Scavenger Hunt will be made up of picture clues from the shelves of our local businesses, as it was last year.
- Gingerbread House Competition:
The Diamond Valley Chamber of Commerce (DVCC) is again issuing a Light-Up Black Diamond Gingerbread House competition for all businesses. Funds raised from this exciting challenge will go to one of our local charities. Last year we had 16 businesses participate.
- Wagon Rides:
Rides will start and stop at different locations throughout town. Exact routes will be displayed on our event map, closer to the date of the event. Provided by: Anchor D Guiding and Outfitting Ltd.
- Free photos with Santa:
Professional photographer, Rachel Imrie, and Pharmasave join forces to provide this well-loved and free opportunity for the evening.
- Late night shopping, free goodies and offerings from local businesses!
