Library Partnership Generates $1M for Children’s Literacy

A unique made-in-Calgary community partnership was announced on October 1 by the Calgary Public Library Foundation, a proud Alberta’s Promise partner.

Made possible with more than $1 million in investment of money and in-kind contributions, Calgary Public Library’s “It’s Not a Crime to Read” program has been able to reach more than 10,000 kids through literacy education and outreach.

Congrats on this amazing community effort!
