Join Diamond Valley “Pathways and Trails” Walk

walking bootsThe first “Pathways and Trails” walk met at the Turner Valley Golf Club Monday afternoon and had a tremendously informative and inspiring walk. We followed a route that took us down to the river behind the driving range and then upstream to the old suspension bridge across from the gas plant and back up to the clubhouse.

I anticipated that the walk would open up fresh perspectives for me, but was still amazed at how much I learned walking the land with knowledgeable companions and guides.

This coming Friday, May 8, 2:00pm at the Arena, we’ll pick up another leg of the possible looping of the Friendship Trail from the Black Diamond side. We’ll meet in the parking lot in front of the Arena and take it from there with Rod Ross as our guide.

Again the weather forecast looks good. A bit cooler than Monday with a high of 14°. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes.
