John Barlow, MP Makes Canada 150 Fund Announcement in Black Diamond

John Barlow, MP for Macleod Riding visited Black Diamond last Wednesday, July 29th, to make a major announcement affecting our community.

A total of $171,765 has been allocated to six communities in the northern part of the Macleod Riding. It includes $78,297 to the Town of Black Diamond for the Sheep River Valley Multi-Use Recreational Trail; $21,810 to Bragg Creek; $50,000 to Millarville Racing & Ag Society;  $9,268 to the Nanton Agricultural Society; $10,100 to the Royal Canadian Legion Vulcan Branch and $2,290 to the Royal Canadian Legion Okotoks Branch, Canada’s newest Legion.

These funds are being made available under the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Grant.
