“L’Shanah Tovah! On behalf of Wildrose Caucus, I would like to extend the best of wishes to all Albertans who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah.
“Rosh Hashanah is one of the Holiest Days in Judaism, and is the first of the High Holy Days. It marks the beginning of a new start and a new year. It is a time when the Holy Act of Teshuva is performed – an act of repentance, with the task of bettering oneself.
“During this sacred period, I hope that Albertans will take the time to reflect on their lives – to spend time with friends and family, to befriend your neighbours, and to make peace with all you encounter.
“I want to wish the Jewish community a warm and welcoming celebration and hope that the New Year brings with you peace, prosperity and success.”
