Following a joint public open house in Fall 2015, The City of Calgary and the Municipal District (M.D.) of Foothills took into consideration both public feedback and technical requirements in creating a draft growth area map and draft policy which will be presented at a public open house on March 2, 2016.
The complete pdf package draft maps for growth areas, a gateway / interface area and special country residential area as well as draft policies is available here. This is a portion of the information that will be shared at the open house.
Pre Event Information Package – City of Calgary and MD of Foothills IDP Review
The purpose of the open house will be to obtain feedback about the draft growth areas and policies, to understand your concerns and suggestions, and to answer your questions.
We value your opinion and invite you to speak with project staff from both the City of Calgary and the MD of Foothills at our 3rd public open house on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 from 3-8pm at the DeWinton Community Hall.
