Holy Spirit Academy is back in the own home again after being displaced by the High River flood. The move took place over the Family Day/Faith Days week. Students received Friday, Feb. 13th off to allow teachers to pack up their rooms and again on Monday, Feb. 23rd to allow the teachers time to set up their classrooms.
The first day back at Holy Spirit Academy was Tuesday, Feb. 24th.
There is work yet to be done on the playground. The upper bench and playground equipment were untouched by the flood waters and therefore is available for all the students to use. The lower bench play area has been dismantled and awaits a new ground surface and installation during the summer months. Christ the Redeemer School Board is also applying for funds to make significant changes to the current parking lot. Again, if approved, construction on the lot will take place in the summer.
All school zones are back in effect.
