HIGH RIVER, AB: K-Line is working on behalf of Fortis this week to upgrade the streetlight infrastructure on Macleod Trail between 7 and 8 Street S.W.
Preliminary work started on Thursday, February 14 and will continue until Wednesday, February 20, excluding the weekend and statutory holiday on Monday, February 18.
The work will require partial lane and alleyway closures in the area as well as a full road closure on Macleod Trail between 7 and 8 Street S.W.
The road closure is required so that work crews can remove overhead power lines and the closure will be in place for approximately two hours on Wednesday, February 20, starting at 10 a.m.
During the road closure, vehicles will be detoured to the north using to 5 Avenue S.W. Please use caution, reduce speed and obey all signage when travelling though the area.
