HIGH RIVER, AB: With a record in high temperatures in Alberta, Town Aquatics staff are making preparations to open the High River Spray Park early for the 2016 season on Monday, May 23.
It is important to note that standard annual Health and Safety precautions and hiring of personnel must be accomplished before the park can open.
The 2016 operating hours will change slightly from previous years. The park will be open from May 23 to July 1 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 3 – 7 p.m., weather permitting. In July and August the park will be open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. seven days per week.
The Town is pleased to announce that there will be free admission to the Spray Park for the 2016 season. Costs will initially be covered by the Town until a sponsor is found.
After September 1, the Spray Park will be open only on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weather permitting.
