High River RCMP – Request public’s assistance to locate a suspect involved in an assault, hit and run investigation

On March 2, 2018, at approximately 1:50 pm, High River RCMP responded to an assault that occurred on Hwy 543. The victim had been travelling on Hwy 543 when he became involved in a minor two vehicle collision which resulted in the male driver of the second vehicle getting out and assaulting the victim. The suspect then fled East bound on Hwy 543 and the victim attended the High River Hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. Due to the poor weather conditions the license plate on the vehicle was covered in snow but the suspect vehicle is described as a White Jeep Liberty/ Patriot possibly a 2010 model. There were 3 people inside the suspect vehicle 2 female passengers and the male suspect.

First female described as:

5’7” to 5’8”, Caucasian, smaller build, multi-coloured hair, wearing a white jacket

Second female described as:

5’4” to 5’5”, Caucasian, wearing a pink or orange jacket,

Male Suspect described as:

5’8”, small/ medium build, round face, described as having short spiked hair, appeared to have something on the side of his neck, Caucasian, wearing a grey sweat shirt with a zipper, sunglasses and dark pants.
