On April 6, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. the High River RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 2 Southbound north of Highway 23. The driver of the vehicle had lost control and entered the east ditch where the vehicle rolled. RCMP, Fire and EMS from High River all responded. The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was injured in the collision. North and Southbound lanes of Highway 2 were blocked for a brief period for STARS to land and transport the driver to the Foothills hospital. The drivers injuries are currently unknown. Alcohol and speed are not suspected as factors in the collision.
