High River Library Returns to Permanent Location


 

High River Library openThe High River Library reopened in its permanent location on Wednesday, Oct. 21 after several months of remediation and renovations.

“We are excited to be back in our permanent home and hope everyone will come in and see what a wonderful transformation has been accomplished,” said Library Director Deb Gardiner.

High River Library interiorResidents are once again able to sign out books, magazines, CDs and DVDs. Computers with internet access are also up and running and staff are available to answer any questions.

Restoration work included a reconfiguration of programming and meeting spaces, as well as interior and lighting improvements.

A grand reopening of the library will be held on November 21, which will include activities in the morning for children and families with a more formal event planned from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. More details will be made available in the coming weeks.
