High River Fall Program Registration Made Easy

Residents can now register for fall recreational activities online at www.highriver.ca, by phone 403-652-4042, or in-person at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex (228 12 Avenue S.E.)

The new community program guide includes sports, recreation, general fitness or wellness classes as well as arts, crafts and special programs for youth and children.

“We are really happy to again be able to offer these community programs to High River,” says Jocelyn Edwards, recreation community programmer. “They give residents a chance to socialize with each other and provide opportunities to keep fit, healthy and learn new skills.”

Stay fit and register for yoga, belly dancing, and boot camp or learn Spanish, how to heal with crystals or get creative in the kitchen with East Indian vegetarian cooking – there’s lots of fun options to do by yourself or with a group of friends!

“We’ve also taken a significant step forward following the 2013 flood as some classes can again be held in our community program studios at the Charles Clark Medical Centre,” adds Edwards.

Regular registrants can expect to find most of their favourite programs repeated this season along with the exciting and new Total Tabata circuit training, Funky Flow Yoga, Men in Motion and Zumba® Step.

Find your copy of the Fall registration guide on the Town website or in print at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex, Town Office, Charles Clark Medical Centre and other locations around High River.
