High Country Rural Crime Watch is working with RCMP, Foothills County, Alberta UCP Government, neighbouring Rural Crime Watches and our provincial RCW:

Foothills County continues their enhanced policing, hiring RCMP officers to help create a greater presence throughout Foothills and especially target hot topic areas. Foothills Patrol works to bring effective support to enforce our bylaws and traffic-related concerns. Our HCRCWA Board is pleased to be meeting with Highwood MLA RJ Sigurdson, who is MLA for part of this RCW’s jurisdiction, to discuss our Rural Crime Watch perspective to add to the investigations being done by the Justice Ministry to address Rural Crime. Public town halls will be held soon. Additionally, we are sharing information with other crime watch groups through Facebook and fan-outs to move information quickly to our members.
